Rugs on Bugs
When people see a macro photograph of a mantis, their first reaction usually isn’t one of appreciation of their good looks. I’ve never heard anyone call a mantis “cute.” I can’t imagine how much of a problem this is for a single mantis female who’s just looking for some love (and then brutally kill by biting off his head). They obviously pray about it all of the time. I’m sure their bug friends try to help play matchmaker, concentrating on their stengths: “She’s got a good personality!“, they’d say. Or, “She’s got a great sense of humor. She’ll laugh your head off!” But sometimes a good make over is all that is needed to go from Ugly Betty to Betty Grable. At least, that’s what St. Elmo’s apparently believe.
The German advertising company has created three striking ads for Amboss’ precision scissors, which show mantis model’s mugshots with precise haircuts. Hottt!
